It’s not often that I have the privilege of photographing an actual PROPOSAL where the bride-to-be (hopefully!) is the only one that doesn’t know what’s going on. Cole had the brilliant idea of having the proposal photographed, and Olivia’s Mom knew me from doing a Mother / Daughter shoot of her and Olivia some years ago.
I brought my lovely wife Trish along to help me with the ruse. It’s hard to hide on the beach. So, I pretended to be shooting photos of my wife until Cole could get Olivia in the position we’d agreed on. Once she had her back to me I was free to move into the position I needed to be to capture what you’ll see below.
