Williamsburg wedding photography of Courtney & Andrew at Wren Chapel on the campus of the College of William and Mary – 9.29.12 The first wedding ever to be held in the Christopher Wren Building at the Wren Chapel was on October 7, 1860. So, it most definitely a tradition for many graduates of William & Mary to tie the knot at Wren Chapel. There are 70-100 wedding ceremonies held there every year! I’ve done the wedding photography at PLENTY of them. The chapel is a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photography as is the campus of William & Mary.
Courtney and Andrew’s wedding was great! They did a “first look” on that awesome bridge on the William and Mary campus, nice traditional ceremony and their reception was what I would call “quirky fun”! (I understand really intelligent people for some reason and kind of “get it” when things are said and done that fall outside the “norm” of the run of the mill wedding reception. Really nice couple with loads of equally nice family and friends.
