The Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia was the setting for the wedding of Renata & Jose. 4 different languages being spoken at this great event and I only knew one of them. Makes me realize how big the world is. I need to get out beyond the confines of the United States more….. The bride and groom are from Brazil, but live in Paris. Some family were from here, so they settled on Virginia Beach for the wedding. The ceremony on the beach was cool! Done in both English and Spanish (with some French translation thrown in). There were around 50 guests, but there were another 200 uninvited but welcome spectators on the beach and the boardwalk. Renata and Jose wanted to do some photos off the beach, so I took them over to the Old Cavalier Hotel for a walk around of the hill. At the reception, Renata broke out into song to serenade Jose (and then Jose returned the favor!). Congratulations to Renata and Jose!
