Contemporary Arts Center of Virginia Wedding Photographer – Amanda & Darryle – 9-30-2011

Amanda and Darryle were married September 30th, 2011 at the Contemporary Arts Center of Virginia! As a wedding photographer, this is one of my favorite places to photograph a wedding. There are SO MANY ways to shoot this venue, and a multitude of places within and around the Contemporary Arts Center to do some non time consuming creative photos. (I think it’s VERY important that when performing wedding photography that my creativity can be expressed VERY QUICKLY with a minimum of fuss.)

The last thing I ever would want to do, and I do not do it, is take a couple away from their family and friends for an inordinate amount of time. I mean heck, I’m a nice guy, and I’m a lot of fun!! BUT!!! I’m there to DOCUMENT, not DOMINATE the day. I’ve been doing this long enough to know how to get things done quickly and efficiently with superb results.

Amanda and Darryle were nice enough to allocate me PLENTY of time to do photographs. So much time in fact that we were done early enough to just move ahead of schedule and get them into the party long before they had planned. (that’s a big win in my book)

Their wedding was GORGEOUS! Bride and Groom totally in love! Everyone ready to celebrate!! (that’s the perfect formula for this wedding photographer)

If you’d like to view the photos that appear in the slide show individually, you can do so on my wedding photographer blog ( , or you can also view them on my Facebook Business Page.

Got a wedding coming up? Need a wedding photographer? Give me a call or inquire via this website, I’ll be happy to talk with you.
